LAF-Off (Lawyers Are Funny) has been a stupendous hit for each of the last four years, with members of the San Diego legal community performing their routines in front of sold out audiences. The March 22, 2012 LAF-Off will once again showcase our legal community's hidden comedic talent, pitting ego against ego in a comedic smack-down.

LAF-Off contestants will each be given 5 minutes to perform their own comedy routine. It's kind of our version of speed-dating (or speed-LAFfing). After each performer has had his or her say, three esteemed and funny "judges" (and the audience) will determine which two contestants can brag for the next 12 months that they are the funniest attorney or law student in town.
All proceeds from LAF-Off will support the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, the county's oldest and largest pro-bono program. SDVLP provides millions of dollars worth of free civil legal assistance to those in need, thanks to its staff of 20 professionals and the support of hundreds of attorney and non-attorney volunteers.
